Biodispersant for Cooling Water
Thanks to its cationic surfactant and polycarboxylic acids, OPTIGARD DAC 70 disperses deposits and contaminants in the system, preventing them from agglomerating and settling, and allowing them to be removed from the circuit as small particles.
It prevents decreased efficiency by keeping heat transfer surfaces clean.
Deposit Formation: In cooling towers and wet stack applications, particles in the air and smoke are captured by water, and the concentration of these particles in the water increases over time. They precipitate and form deposits.
These deposits form on heat transfer surfaces, reducing efficiency.
Deposits prevent inhibitors in the water from reaching the metal surface, disrupting the corrosion protection program and causing blockages in pipes, leading to malfunctions.
OPTIGARD DAC 70 prevents these adverse effects.
