High Performance Concentrated Microbiocide

OPTIGARD LEO MIX is a highly water-soluble, super-concentrated disinfectant inhibitor developed to prevent biofilm growth in cooling and circulating water and evaporators.

It is a non-oxidizing microbiocide used in shower heads, jacuzzis, boilers and heat exchangers, cooling towers, fan coil lines, water tanks, and garden irrigation systems.

VOC-free and safe.

It has a broad spectrum of activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, molds, and yeasts, including Legionella.

It is safe for use in all industrial areas, including water and air treatment processes, the paper industry, metalworking, and assembly plants.

OPTIGARD LEO MIX can be added at any time during production.

OPTIGARD LEO MIX is water-soluble and should be added at any stage of production, preferably to a neutral pH medium. However, it is recommended to add it as early as possible to ensure protection throughout the production process. It is important to ensure that the temperature, pH, and redox potential at the point of addition are appropriate for product stability.

OPTIGARD LEO MIX is compatible with most processes and formulations for which it is recommended and can be used in formaldehyde-sensitive systems. Reducing agents, amines, and other strong nucleophiles can cause degradation of the active ingredients. Therefore, users are advised to conduct their own testing before their first application or seek further advice from our technical service.
