Stainless Surface, Anti-Corrosion Barrier Film Forming

OPTICOR POL 500 is an effective barrier film-forming protective product used to prevent corrosion and rust on sensitive equipment, stainless steel, and metals in environments with intense corrosive effects, caused by air and water.

It protects against corrosion and rust, particularly on 304, 309, and 316 stainless steels, sheet metal, machinery, and all types of metal parts, during land and sea transportation, and during long-term storage in enclosed or open spaces, by preventing the surface from being affected by moisture, seawater, and atmospheric conditions.

It provides protection for 3-6 months in open weather conditions. It forms a bright, transparent barrier film on applied surfaces that is impervious to water.

It protects the surface by forming a highly active, elastic, transparent, and strong film on the metal surface.

The film provides excellent lubrication on many surfaces, including cold-rolled and galvanized steel, as well as aluminum.

It is suitable for protecting cold-rolled steel and aluminum (including copper-containing alloys) against corrosion.

It provides excellent lubrication on galvanized surfaces.

It is widely used in steel and aluminum applications in the automotive industry.

Its low viscosity allows for rolling and spraying.

It provides excellent film control with electrostatic spraying.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

OPTICOR POL 500 is ready to use. It is suitable for use with air and airless spray methods, as well as with a cloth or brush. Application is recommended on clean and dry surfaces.
