Concentrated, Water-Dilutable, VOC-Free, Long-Term Effective Corrosion Inhibitor

OPTICOR WX 3900 is a blend of lubricants and organic corrosion inhibitors that provide long-term protection. While the length of protection depends on the concentration used, it can provide up to 12 months of protection in indoor storage applications.
OPTICOR WX 3900 is a premium quality, water-based, VOC-free, water-dilutable, rust prevention and protection product.
OPTICOR WX 3900 is a premium quality, fully water-soluble, stable corrosion prevention product that resists peeling and cracking, removes fingerprints, and forms a very thin, self-healing oil film that is easily removable when necessary.
OPTICOR WX 3900 is a non-flammable product free of sodium nitrite, boron, barium, and formaldehyde.

APPLICATION BENEFITS

OPTICOR WX 3900 is used safely in many industrial applications. The following products provide medium- and long-term protection and ultimate protection on media and surfaces:

(Semi-)finished automotive and machine parts/components, such as valves, gears, camshafts, housings, bearings/bearings, chains, engines, fastening nuts, brake systems, and precision components with a polished surface.
Filling of micro-holes/cavities on phosphated or blackened surfaces.
Protection of materials and equipment during international product shipments, provided they are properly packaged.
Final treatment of steel strip or round steel sheet after a rust removal bath.
Long-term protection of galvanized products against rust.
We recommend using soft water with low or no chlorine to optimize emulsion stability and minimize the risk of corrosion due to high conductivity.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

OPTICOR WX 3900 is normally used warm (50° to 60°C) and with a -15% emulsion. Depending on the application, it can also be used at concentrations between 3% and 25%.

Regular testing and reporting of the wash solution condition should be provided as part of the verification program. The recommended hardness value of the dilution water is 220 ppm.
Solution strength and Brix values ​​should be checked weekly with a refractometer.

USAGE DOSAGE

OPTICOR WX 3900 can be used at concentrations of 3-5%. For general-purpose use, the recommended dosage is 5-15% emulsion at a temperature of 50°C to 60°C, depending on the desired protection duration.
