Rinsing and Neutralization Product for Medical Devices
OPTIGARD® AC 500-NP is a phosphoric acid-based liquid neutralizing agent used after washing surgical instruments and medical devices with OPTIGARD® AK 100-FR, an alkaline-based cleaner in washer-disinfector devices.
OPTIGARD® AC 500-NP is used in hospitals and other medical institutions for the neutralization of surgical instruments, rigid endoscopes, MIC devices, plastic instruments used in anesthesia, surgery, and urology, containers, operating room slippers, baby bottles, and laboratory glassware after alkaline cleaning.
OPTIGARD® AC 500-NP is used in thermal and chemothermal disinfection processes for neutralization after alkaline cleaning with OPTIGARD® AK 100-FR, and as a rust remover in manual applications.

OPTIGARD® AC 500-NP can also be used for thorough cleaning in immersion baths.
The OPTIGARD® AC 500-NP solution must be thoroughly rinsed after each process.
